Its simulated gear ratios on cvt manual mode, meant to be used uphill or passing other vehicles in a short amount of time. Although the cvt manual mode does have preset gear ratios just like a planetary gear sets, it will auto upshift when u rev close to the redline. You just dont feel the upshift as dramatic as a manual or torque converted gearbox. And thats the point. I agree to the terms of service Comment
