Why don't you join the U.S Army as 68C(MOS) LPN/LVN and get some experience in nursing or medical field. 
The U.S Army will educate and train soldiers in "RN-level" even though they will eventually take "NCLEX-PN" not NCLEX-RN then you can later earn a direct commission as an officer from enlist level if you become a nurse officer.  Not only getting paid during being training and educating in becoming "Licensed practical nurse" in the military but you can also hold your license after military which means you can use it in civilian side. Especially, you have a little debt and you are planning to get married. Enlisting as 68C might be the best option in your current circumstance.  They pay you and provide your schooling, food , free health insurance and rent if you have a dependent. 
The bottom line is " you can earn your degree or license whatsoever you want to become ending up with no cost at all". as I mentioned several times above.   
Consider it seriously, if you have any more questions let me know.

Note: if you are interested in joining the U.S army, please do after you get naturalized because a green card holder is currently subjected to screening under OPM(T3) nowadays. It takes six months at least to be cleared.  
And study hard for ASVAB, 68C is required to get score over  GT107(MATH and ENGLISH).
