I would say go for masters degree and take the exam while you are at school (You can try different materials such as Beckers). My masters degree wasn’t much of a help in the public accounting. However, when you go into private industry, it matters. It really does… I am getting about $25k more than what my coworkers are getting because of my masters degree.
