Metropolis: a very large and “densely” populated “industrial and commercial” city.
Pay ATTENTION to the word “DENSITY” and “Industrial/commercial” (bldgs)
“Density”: Toronto is 4 times denser than Dallas
Population: Toronto proper is 2 times more populated than Dallas.
I don’t give a rats ass if you count DFW because that is not Dallas proper. For the same reason, I don’t care GTA (Greater Toronto Area) includes not only Toronto but also other suburbs like Mississauga. Because what matters in the end of the day is what city I am living in, not what the geography of Greater Area covers. This all follows the city/states’ jurisdiction, which is pretty much subject to one’s view what to cover and what not.
