There are thousands companies sized from 2-3 employees to 100k employees. Beside Bechtel and Fluor, there are many: AECOM, JACOBS, PARSONS, WSP-PB, HDR, CH2MHILL, STANTAC,...-design companies, Kiewit, Walsh, Lane, Abrams, Granite: contractors ... They hire all kinds of engineers including structure, geotech, transportation, water resource, traffic, environmental.... I am not sure what the job market looks like in 2-3 years.
