He barely said 1 word to me today. I tried to engage in conversation but he was really quiet. He had a tough time with some of the math (because of the language) but I agree with Mrs. Glover in that he should do the problems that he knows. I really think he struggles with the problems because of the language barrier, and I would like to continue with word problems and reading of the directions. It' s not that he can't do the math, it is the instruction he has difficulty with and I think word problems will help with language and instruction. Tell me what you think.
