영주권 받은 후 메일

    안녕 하세요 여기에서 많은 도움을 받아서 영주권을 취득했습니다.

    그런데 영주권 받은 지 1년 반 후에 이민국에서 다음과같은 메일이 왔습니다.
    이에 무슨 내용인지 알고 싶습니다.
    NOTICE OF DECISION
    This notice is in reference to the Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, which was filed by the petitioner pursuant to section 101 (a) (15) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. The petition was filed for 질문이 and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) approved the petition.
    In accordance with 8 C.F.R. 214.2, the petition is automatically revoked as of the date of this notice because: The petitioner/employer has filed a written withdrawal of the petition.

    All adjudicative action in this matter, from this office is complete.
    This decision may leave the beneficiary without lawful immigration status and he or she may therefore be present
    in the United States+n-violanon-of-the law- As-a-result, the beneficiary may be required to depart the United
    States. Remaining in the United States without authorization may affect his or her ability to return to the United
    States in the future. For questions concerning immigration services and benefits, the beneficiary may call 1-800-375-5283-or-for’FPf-1-800-767-18-33.

      영주권 스폰서 고용주가 140을 취소했다는 내용으로 보입니다. 고용주와 사실 확인을 한 후 조치를 취하셔야 할 것 같습니다.

      이미 영주권을 다 받은 상태인데 140이 취소가 될 수가 있는 건가요?

        여기서 읽어보면, 고용주는 할 수 있는 것으로 알고 있습니다.

      아마 전 고용주가 그렇게 한 모양인데요. 왜 그랬는지는 모르겠지만, 아뭏든 이미 받으신 영주권에는 아무런 영향이 없습니다. 걱정하지 마세요.

      영주권과 H1B를 둘다 신청하셨었나요?

      취업 영주권 신청에 사용하는 Form I-140의 이름은 “Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker”이고,
      “Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker”는 H1B를 신청할 때 사용하는 Form I-129 입니다.
      전에 H1B 신청했다가 영주권을 받았기 때문에 H1B를 취소시킨 것이 아닐까 생각합니다.

      답변을 달아 주셔서감사합니다.
      변호사에게 문의 한 결과 소리네 님께서 말씀 하신것이 맞는 것 같습니다.
      영주권을 받은 후에 회사에서 layoff가 되어서 h1b를 취소 한것으로 생각이 됩니다.
      결론적으로 SamOh님께서 말씀 하신것 처럼 영주권에는 아무런 영향이 없다고 합니다.
