Re: [EB_ROW] Re: Yes, the war is not over. Wake Up GuysGuy,I am a little disappointed at the direction of our strategy. The
proponents of this bill are not going to relent. Money, reputaion and
lecacy are on the line. Grassley needs to stand firm. We need to
encourage him and let him know he has the support of Amercan workers. We
have to encourage the Congressmen who voted against the bill to work
together and present a united front and opposition to HR 3012.Our letters to Grassley and King should emphase the negative effect
HR has on American Jobslessness and the the future flow of immigrants.
Yiou can include stuff about the effect on other sectors of the economy. We can also write to Schmmer and paticularly to Patrict Leahy.
These Senators are opened to amendments and will be willing to take out
points into accounts. I have always advocated that if you write to these
Senators present amendements that are reasonable.I prefer to work with King and Grassley. I have presnted that position time and again. If you dislike my position, so be it.If congressmen have voted no on a bill and I advise that we write
and thank them, why will Samuel Tetteh be so mad about that. I do not
get it.This fight is not over and we must remember that. If we do not get
the public involve and firmly show support for Grassley, we may lose.I rest my case.Mark— On Thu, 12/1/11, Young <jr8rdt@…> wrote:From: Young <jr8rdt@…>

according to another article he and Lee are going to “pay a visit” to Grassley and “educate” him.
guys, our fight is by far is not over.
infact we are at a very critical moment now.
it’s either now or neverplease send emails to Grassley and show your support if you haven’t
I can not stress more the importance of your efforts each and every one of you— In EB_ROW@yahoogroups.com, “nicribar” <nicribar@…> wrote:

The bill’s author, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), opposes the hold,
stating, “While per-country limits make some limited sense in the area
of family
immigration, they make no sense in the context of employment-based
immigration. American companies treat all highly skilled immigrants
equally regardless of where they come from, and our immigration policy
should do the same. The hold should be lifted and the Senate should
swiftly pass this bipartisan legislation.”
