저는 reentry permit을 받아서 한국에 체류중인데요. 일이 길어져서 permit을 연장하려고 합니다. Expire 되는 시점이 7월인데 연장신청서를 언제 접수시켜야 하는지 궁금해서 여쭤봅니다.

I131 instruction을 찾아보니 “A reentry permit may not be issued to you if: 1. You have already been issued such a document and it is still valid, unless the prior document has been returned to the CIS, or you can demonstrate that it was lost; or…” 이라고 나와 있습니다.

따라서 7월전에 미국으로 와서 permit이 expire 된 이후에만 신청할수 있는것 같은데, 경험있으신 분들의 답변 미리 감사드립니다.
