Position : Cost Estimator
Role & Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for engineering and installation projects.
• Develop CAPEX estimates including equipment, installation labor, subcontracting, and commissioning.
• Build and maintain cost models and pricing structures.
• Estimate installation scope including: Mechanical & electrical installation, Equipment erection and assembly, Equipment erection and assembly, Commissioning and startup support.
• Analyze site conditions, labor productivity, and installation complexity to reflect realistic costs.
• RFQ/RFP & Technical Requirement Review.
• Request, review, and compare quotations from equipment suppliers and installation subcontractors.Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering project estimation, Installation projects (equipment, plant, automation, etc.), EPC / logistics automation / industrial systems.
• Strong understanding of: Equipment systems and installation processes, Cost structures. (materials, labor, subcontracting)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel-based cost modeling.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with global engineering or EPC projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, layout drawings, and system design.
• Experience working with installation contractors and field execution teams.
• English communication skills for global project coordination.
• Knowledge of ERP or costing tools.Benefit & Salary
• Pay: The pay range is $70,000 – $130,000 (A wide range of factors are utilized in compensation decisions, including but not limited to, experience, skill sets, job-related knowledge, geographic market, and other key qualifications based on business needs.)
