General Accounting Data Processor (AR / AP)

Salary: $6450~ / Month

We are seeking an experienced General Accounting Data Processor to support a high-volume accounting project. This role focuses on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing and requires strong SAP data processing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions with high accuracy and timeliness

Execute and validate SAP data entry, including invoices, payments, reconciliations, and journal entries

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial data integrity throughout the project

Collaborate with finance, treasury, and project teams to support smooth financial operations

Identify, escalate, and assist in resolving transaction discrepancies and accounting issues

Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails in compliance with accounting policies

Support accounting data processing during system and financial operations project activities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5+ years of experience in General Accounting, with strong focus on AR and AP

SAP experience preferred, especially with FI/CO modules (other ERP experience acceptable)

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage high-volume financial data processing with accuracy

Knowledge of corporate treasury processes is a plus

Ability to work on-site in Englewood Cliffs, NJ during the contract period
