Position Overview
The Quality Associate Manager is responsible for supporting quality assurance and control activities to ensure that products and processes meet company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role involves monitoring quality systems, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
– Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 (or other relevant quality management systems).
– Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities.
– Assist in customer complaint handling, investigation, and resolution.
– Monitor production processes to identify areas for quality improvement and efficiency.
– Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
– Participate in internal and external audits (customer, certification, or regulatory).
– Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and process reliability.
– Train operators and staff on quality standards, procedures, and tools.
– Use statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and other quality tools to analyze performance.
– Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, in process components, and finished products (including circuit breakers and related assemblies).
– Verify conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards using measuring tools, gauges, and electrical test equipment.
– Correct and repair products and components to make better quality

– Support operators when they need supportRequirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
– 2+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
– Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar).
– Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, Lean, Six Sigma)
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality software tools.
– Skilled in using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and electrical testing devices.
– Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/MES systems) for data entry and reporting.
– Bilingual in Korean and English is required.Benefits
