Responsibilities
– Monitor overall site safety management and compliance with safety regulations
– Develop and implement safety programs in accordance with OSHA and related regulations
– Conduct safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractor staff
– Perform risk assessments and regular safety inspections
– Investigate causes of accidents/incidents and establish preventive measures
– Maintain safety-related documentation, records, and reports
– Communicate with external organizations (clients, regulatory agencies, etc.) on safety matters
– Provide regular safety status reports to senior management and site managers

General Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain project schedules
– Monitor utility usage and identify cost-saving opportunities
– Ensure timely resolution of site issues and minimize production interruptions
– Maintain documentation, work orders, and compliance records
– Regularly report progress to senior management
– Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards

Qualifications
– Minimum of 5 years of construction experience in a plant environment (piping preferred)
– Degree or certification in Engineering or Occupational Safety (depending on role)
– OSHA 30 (Engineers) / OSHA 510 or 500 (Safety Manager) certification required
– Proven experience in safety training and accident prevention (for Safety Manager)
– Ability to regularly wear PPE (safety glasses, helmet, steel-toed shoes, harness) for up to 12 hours

Skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
– CAD skills
– Piping construction experience required (for engineers)
