Job Title: Manufacturing Director
Job Overview
The Manufacturing Director is responsible for the overall management of the company’s production operations, including the development and implementation of production strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, ensure product quality, and meet market demand. The Manufacturing Director needs to work closely with other departments to promote continuous improvement and innovation in the company.Strategic Planning
Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
Evaluate production capacity and plan future production needs.
Production Management
Oversee the entire production process, including production planning, equipment maintenance, and human resource management.
Ensure that production is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Quality Control
Develop and implement product quality control standards to ensure that products meet industry and customer requirements.
Resolve quality issues that arise in production and promote improvements.
Cost Management
Analyze production costs, develop budgets, and take measures to achieve cost control.
Find ways to reduce production waste and improve efficiency.
Team Management
Manage and lead the manufacturing team, responsible for personnel recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Encourage teamwork and continuous learning to improve employee skills.
Process OptimizationPromote lean production and continuous improvement, optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Use data analysis tools to monitor production performance and conduct periodic evaluations.
Safety ManagementEnsure that the production site meets safety and environmental standards and promote a safety culture.
Perform regular safety training and inspections to reduce work-related accidents.
Collaborate with other departmentsWork closely with R&D, procurement, sales and other departments to ensure the smooth connection between product development and market demand.
Participate in the product development process and provide manufacturing feasibility opinions.
Job Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor degree or above, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields are preferred.
Work Experience: More than 5 years of manufacturing management experience, at least 3 years of management position experience.
Skill Requirements:
Solid production management and operation knowledge.
Familiar with quality management systems (such as ISO 9001) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
