Position Title: Chinese Cook-Chinese Cuisine Development Chef

General Responsibilities:
• Recipe and Menu Development: Create and refine authentic Chinese meal recipes tailored for airline catering, ensuring meal taste and quality are maintained.
• Food Preparation & Cooking: Follow standardized recipes and food preparation specifications to produce high-quality meals.
• Quality Assurance & Food Safety: Adhere to hygiene and food safety regulations, ensuring all meals meet industry standards.
• Inventory & Ingredient Management: Maintain accurate inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring efficient use and timely replenishment.
• Customer Presentation & Feedback: Assist in the preparation of meal presentations for airline clients and incorporate feedback for improvement.
• Support & Training: Provide training and support for junior kitchen staff or trainees, ensuring skill development and adherence to company standards.
• Collaboration with Executive Chef: Work closely with the Executive Chef to execute meal plans and troubleshoot any issues in meal preparation.

Qualifications:
1) Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong expertise in Chinese cuisine and recipe development.
• Ability to follow cooking procedures and food safety regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
2) Experience:
• Prior experience in food preparation, culinary arts, or kitchen operations preferred.
3) Location:
• Must be able to reside in and work from Los Angeles, CA.

Stipend: $80,000 – $120,000 (Negotiable based on experience)
Working Hour: Mon – Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
