Position Title: Labor Coordination Safety
General Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and other regulatory safety standards by conducting regular audits and inspections.
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct safety training and presentations for new hires and existing employees, covering topics such as PPE usage, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition.
• Investigate workplace accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and update safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify potential safety hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire drills, evacuation plans, and first aid/CPR training.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries, inspections, and audits.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to keep the company’s safety programs up to date.Qualifications:
• Bilingual – English and Spanish (fluency required)
• degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and other relevant safety regulations.
• Experience conducting safety training and presentations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to workplace safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United StatesStipend: $50,000 – $60,000 per year
Working Hour: Mon-Fri, 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. or 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.Fringe Benefits:
