Position Title: Underwriting

General Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in selecting insurance policies that meet their needs and budget.
• Provide information about various types of insurance, including auto, home, life, health, and commercial policies.
• Process policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide ongoing policy support.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Follow up on leads and generate new business through networking and referrals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and policy updates.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and agency performance goals.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems MS Office(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• State Insurance License (or willingness to obtain one).

Stipend: $45k – $70k up / year
Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Fringe Benefits: Lunch provided twice a week
