Job Overview
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for managing the development and execution of the company’s overall supply chain strategy, ensuring efficient supply chain operations to support the company’s business goals. This position requires close cooperation with various departments to optimize supply chain processes, manage supplier relationships, and reduce costs and risks.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure consistency with the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Identify and evaluate supply chain opportunities to achieve continuous improvement and best practices.
Supplier Management

Select and manage suppliers and establish strong supplier relationships.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure that they meet quality, delivery and cost requirements.
Inventory Management

Responsible for the entire inventory management, optimize inventory levels to reduce spot and out-of-stock risks.
Analyze inventory data to achieve accurate demand forecasts.
Logistics Coordination

Oversee logistics and transportation management, optimize transportation costs and delivery times.
Ensure efficient flow of products throughout the supply chain.
Risk Management

Assess potential risks and challenges in the supply chain and develop response strategies to reduce risks.
Conduct crisis management to ensure the continued operation of the supply chain in unexpected situations.
Data and Analysis

Use data analysis tools to monitor supply chain performance, provide analysis reports and identify improvement opportunities.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular evaluation and optimization.
Team Management

Manage and guide the supply chain team, provide professional training and career development opportunities.
Encourage teamwork and build an efficient working environment.
Cross-departmental communication

Closely coordinate and communicate with sales, production, finance and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Participate in senior management meetings and provide supply chain-related advice and decision support.
