    Job Description
    Safety Program Development and Implementation

    Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and policies tailored to IT infrastructure construction projects.
    Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
    Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
    Training and Education

    Provide safety training to construction and IT teams, including subcontractors, to ensure awareness of safety practices and regulations.
    Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings.
    Site Monitoring and Auditing

    Perform regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
    Document safety incidents, near misses, and violations; conduct thorough investigations and implement preventive measures.
    Maintain accurate safety records, including OSHA logs and compliance documentation.
    Collaboration and Communication

    Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and IT staff to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
    Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and coordinate inspections or audits as required.
    Emergency Preparedness and Response

    Develop and implement emergency response plans for construction sites.
    Lead safety drills and ensure all personnel are prepared for potential emergencies.
    Continuous Improvement

    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging safety technologies, and changes to OSHA regulations.
    Proactively identify opportunities to improve safety practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
    Qualifications
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety management, preferably within IT infrastructure projects.
    Familiarity with safety challenges specific to data center and IT infrastructure construction.

    Skills:
    Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively train teams and address safety concerns.
    Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
