Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Houston, TXJob Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and understanding our organization’s business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions to drive growth and efficiency.Description of duties and responsibilities:
• Analyze the monthly Profit & Loss(P&L) of the business and conduct meetings with the leadership team to communicate the overall financial results.
• Maintain the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard, review quarterly trends, and propose actions to improve business performance.
• Analyze revenues and costs trends by geographic regions, product families, and recommend ideas to drive growth in price, volume, and profit margins.
• Compare actual sales performance with the plan, identify gaps, and suggest ideas to catch up with the plan as needed.
• Review quarterly trends in costs, including raw material costs, fixed and variable production costs, SG&A costs, and logistics costs, and recommend opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate closely with the supply chain, product management, and manufacturing teams to analyze production volumes and inventories, and recommend ideas to optimize production and inventory turns.
• Prepare a quarterly business financial performance report with key takeaways and present it to senior management.
• Drive the annual financial planning process by coordinating across sales, marketing, product management, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to devise next year’s financial plan.
• Monitor competitive price dynamics in the global markets and recommend opportunities to capitalize on market dynamics for top and bottom-line growth.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects related to new market entry analysis, pricing analysis, go-to-market strategies, and CAPEX projects, among others.Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in Korean is mandatory
• 0-3 years experience required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
