Our client’s company is located in North American Headquarter that oversees lithium-ion electrolyte production and research and development, as part of parent company in South Korea.

POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees labs and provides analysis of all chemical material at all stages in the manufacturing and R and D process.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

· Analyzes incoming materials supplied by vendors, existing product, and new product used in production.

· Maintains laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed

· Computes, analyzes and maintains records pertaining to all test methods and data.

· Provides and interprets data to Quality Control.

· Creating work instruction, SOP and implementing new test method development

· Works directly with operations and quality to resolve non-conforming or other product issues.

· Performs all tasks according to standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

· Directs, coordinates, or advises personnel in test procedures for analyzing components or physical properties of materials.

· Schedules, plan, and execute Gage R&R and calibrations on-time.

· Visits and communicates with customers as R&D and technical position and make plan for R&D production

· Follows all company, industry standard and OSHA safety procedures, including equipment safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Provides support to other departments, as needed.

· Manage laboratory inventory, supplies.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

· 3-5 years of lab management experience preferred.

· Troubleshooting of equipment (GC-FID, ICP-OES, Karl-Fischer, Titrator)

· Publication and presentation experience preferred.

SKILLS:

· Ability to safely and correctly operate and maintain lab equipment.

· Knowledge of hazardous material handling policies and procedures.

· Ability to make method development

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Problem solving and analytical skills required.

· Bilingual(English/Korean) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
