    As a senior accountant at the company, your primary responsibility is to manage and oversee various financial aspects of the auction business.

    Tasks include:
    1. Financial record keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and financial transactions related to GEAA

    2. Budgeting and forecasting: Collaborating with management to develop and monitor budgets, as well as providing financial forecasts and analyses to support decision-making.

    3. Financial reporting: Preparing financial reports regularly, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and so on, to provide insights into the financial performance of the auction.

    4. Accounts payable and receivable: Managing invoices, payments, and collections from buyers and sellers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

    5. Tax compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and maintaining proper documentation for audits.

    6. Financial analysis and reporting: Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

    7. Internal controls: Implementing and maintaining effective internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

    8. Auditing: Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations and addressing any findings or recommendations.

    9. Manage and maintain the accounting ERP system (Quickbooks), including system upgrades, data integrity, and user training.

    Experience:

    – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    – CPA certification preferred, AICPA preferred
    – Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
    – Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
    – Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account reconciliation
    – Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
