Role: We are looking to hire a playing manager who is directly involved with HANDS ON work. Responsible for the operation and management of IT systems (semiconductor manufacturing). Utilize office workforce and IT service personnel deployed at the manufacturing site to maintain customers’ manufacturing IT systems.

Requirements:

Must be familiar with UNIX/Linux prompt level commands.
Must be able to extract data from a DBMS using SQL.
Must be proficient in English (it would be good if they can speak Korean, but they must be good at English even if they cannot speak Korean).
5-10 years experience in IT field

Responsibilities:

Working alongside the staff at the client’s Help Desk
Entering UNIX, Linux prompt level commands directly
Real-time monitoring of UNIX/Linux systems following around 1000 predefined procedures. 
In case of any anomalies or failures, immediate action must be taken to maintain normality.
Answering calls from system users and taking immediate action to solve the problem is required.
Leading Local Personnel who use Native English, and being in charge of them..
Giving hands-on training directly to the subordinates.
Assigning daily tasks to subordinates and confirming their completion.
Writing daily Help Desk journals.
Having daily meetings with the client’s representative.
