    Position: Technical Operations Specialist II

    Job Location: Orange County California ( 얼바인, 파운틴벨리)

    SUMMARY

    • In charge of North America MCP (Master Contents Provider) contents server operation. Responsibility includes development support, route logic analysis, quality validation, CP quality related VOC response, and daily monitoring of the CP systems. Respond to clients’ requests and cooperate in mutual projects. (CP: Charging Stations (EvGo, ChargePoint etc), Weather, Speed Cam, Local Search, VR…)
    • Support logic localization effort by integrating existing logic into the native environment. Plan and perform regular/occasional field driving tests against competitors to benchmark and improve overall Contents quality.
    • Collect, interpret, and visualize driving test data for the purpose of improving user experience.
    • Utilize necessary tools for in-depth analysis of CPs data quality and communicate with CPs to maintain and improve the accuracy of the provided contents.
    • Additional obligation in managing CP and client relations, supporting test of clients, and coordinating with Headquarter. Also, support the system operation between CP, clients, and Headquarter.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Operation Management (50%)

    • Plan and perform driving field test for CP quality (real-time charging stations, etc.)
    • Research required test environment and set up corresponding vehicle
    • Organize and analyze test data to identify points of improvements and errors
    • Report daily/monthly user usage trend through analyzing the cross data from CCS server and MCP server
    • Respond to the customer reported issues by identifying the root cause and validating the solution
    • Conduct regular meetings with clients to cooperate on field test operations to improve the overall quality of Contents Related service
    • Perform regular/occasional software update test
    • Monitor status of the MCP contents server and react to any malfunctions on notice.
    • Communicate with the CCS team regarding server issues, system maintenance, and client requests
    • Report map-related issues to the provider and test the countermeasures

    Quality Engineering (50%)

    • Plan and perform driving field test for the software update
    • Create and manage test cases based on the development validation results
    • Run the test cases to gather and distribute the result
    • Investigate the application of new features and recreate the environment to confirm the functionality
    • Set up head unit and vehicles according to the test environment
    • Perform local testing for head unit related features on all available platforms
    • Raise issues revealed from testing, check the progress of the fix, and validate the fix through additional testing.
    • Analyze customer issues and investigate for possible improvements
    • Perform test for new features and/or issues regarding previous customer complaints
    • Review existing logics and support development team in deciding logic changes based on characteristics of NA environments

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • BS / BA degree or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or other related field
    • Understanding and ability to use collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
    • Experience using Car Connected Services
    • Experience with test automation tools
    • Strong root-cause analysis skills
    • Detailed knowledge of IT security
    • Experience with Python, Matlab, and SQL scripting
    • Experience of Cloud Server such as AWS
    • Excellent oral presentation and writing skills
    • Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ability to meet deadlines
    • Experience in automotive technology industry preferred
    • Korean bi-lingual strongly preferred

    Hourly Range – $32.39/hour to $46.31/hour
