We are looking for a passionate HR Senior Manager to join our HR team here in growing biotech industry. The position will lead HR department, and still may be required to perform administrative operations that is related to classified information. Key responsibilities include company’s compliance, facilitating the performance review process and making process improvement as necessary. A Senior HR Manager ensures that legal requirements are met and must meticulously manage all employee files under strict confidentiality. This role will interact with all departments and across all levels of the workforce, and report directly to managing director or to CEO as needed. This roll will be primarily under the supervision of managing director who oversees Accounting, IR and HR operation.Job Profile

Work hours: 9AM – 6PM (Psomagen can allow limited flexibility)
Location: Rockville, MD OfficeThis position will be based in the Psomagen office in Rockville, Maryland (on-site).
Responsibilities
Play a key role in leading HR department bringing improvements in the work process, i.e. compliance and routine operations as necessary.
Be the main point-of-contact regarding labor relations issues to provide guidance and support when needed.
Manage labor budget, identify staffing needs across the departments, manage recruiting process.
Coordinates with outside benefits broker to manage employee benefits programs and manage the annual open enrollment process.
Provide guidance in improvements of employee evaluation to be aligned with the company KPI.
Review and ensure benefit administration such as enrolling employees in insurance, 401k, paid time off and self-development perks.
Review and document company policies and practices and maintain compliance such as Family and Medical Leave Act(FMLA), COBRA, EEO-1 reports, unemployment claims and other compliant processes.
Manage the company policies by introducing and enforcing new policies as required.
Manage any ad hoc projects or activities as assigned and/or according to company needs at the time.
Manage time-pressured tasks effectively and professionally
Take ownership of work and display a strong sense of responsibility
Must maintain strict confidentiality on all information processed in the HR department
Must be an active listener for employees and have a strong can-do attitude
Identify issues and suggest improvement in organized reporting
Manage HR information with high reliability to disclose through KRX(Korea Stock Exchange) to public, a Korean institute equivalent to SEC.
Manage Stock option process with IR manager.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration or other relative fields
7 + years of Human Resources experience required
Must have strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite
Strong Knowledge of federal / state employment law and legislative compliance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels and departments within and outside the companyPreferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English + Korean, a big plus
Certification in PHR or SHRM-CP or something equivalent, a plus
Experience with ADP programs or other HRIS softwareBenefits
