Being a lawyer in the U.S is not all that people think it is UNLESS you can get into a tier 1 law school. Even then its not all that as the working hours are long and there is a great amount of stress associated with the job. So do the math. Additional 3 years in school , spend 250k for tuition and living expense only to make 150k after graduating?? Less than 5pct of lawyers make over 300k and a vast majority make less than 150k. Cannot get into tier 1? Then you are stuck making 80-90k and life will be miserable
