I went DMV in CA today to get a California driver’s license.
=> I went to a DMV in CA to get a driver’s license.
While I am using a computer there to provide my information to the system to get a waiting ticket, an old man, later I learned that his name is Michael and he is 75 year-old, was struggling with the use of the computer and asked for assistance to the staff and other customers.
=> I was checking in, running into an old man difficulty playing with a computer, so asking a staff member for assistance. His name was Michael, a 75 year-old man.
Since nobody helped him, I told him I can help.
=> There seemed nobody to help, so I walked close to him to ask if he needed my help.
It took me about 5 mins to finish his task, and I and he went to a line for get a waiting ticket. He was complained about how bad DMV, which is running by the citizens’ tax, service is. I can’t agree him more.
=> For me, it took only about 5 mins to help him finish his job. He and I stood in line to receive waiting numbers. While doing that, he complained about how poor the DMV service is, given that the government employees get paid by citizens’ tax money. I couldn’t agree with him more.
Anyway, when I almost finished my stuff, we met again in the line and he gave me $20 as an appreciation of my help.
=> Having my stuff finished, I ran into the guy again where we had stood in line. He expressed gratitude in his own way by giving me $20 in his hand.
With that money I was able to feed my hungry stomach after two days of starvation.
=> In fact, I’d suffered from starvation for two days and could fill hunger with his $20.
Thanks God for feeding me.
