A boutique firm provides a full spectrum of accounting, tax, and business advisory services seeks a tax manager.

What we are looking for: Experienced in researching complex accounting & tax issues and managing clients’ accounting and tax needs. Confident working with clients. Embraces working closely within a team and assisting other team members when needed. Possesses the communication, people skills and drive to advance within the firm.

Role and responsibilities

Prepare/review financial statements and tax returns and maintain communication with clients in accordance with professional standards
Analyze and financial activities and tax matters
Assist to evaluate and implement client’s internal controls
Review optimal leverage strategy
Understand the Client’s business and related needs
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
5+ years accounting & tax experience at CPA firm preferred
CPA or CPA in process desired
Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
Full cycle accounting experience
Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software
Complex accounting and tax research experience that lead to analytical solutions
Experience with CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks online, and/or other accounting related software and ERP systems a plus
Compensation

$120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
