I sold my lease car to the same car maker dealership because lease financing company didn’t allow to sell it to 3rd party such as carmax. Most of dealership insist paying after title in their hands. But I don’t think you have to worry about any. Notice of transfer and release of liability form, that dealership will give, will have selling price. This doc is a legal proof.. It took about 3 and half month to get the check. Sorry for any typo
