Im in LA, lived here pretty much all my life. Yes, things are different now. Thanks to chinese immigrant, who came here with $$$, molesting our economy and driving real estate up so high in our neighborhood, not to mention being responsible for spreading corona virus. Now we’re all labeled as Chinese. At least we used to identified as Korean or non-chinese before but now we’re just Chinese or Orinental. Some one call me Oriental couple of weeks ago. Havent’ heard that word for decades. I work with all whites, blacks, and hispanics. I can see in their cold eyes, and harsh responses towards me compare to co-workers(im the only Asian here), that i believe racially motivated. I would say, watch out for crazy ones and be mindful. I’m considering owning a gun for the first time in my life, for myself and my family. And yes, Trump fuxxin g did it. Welcome back to shit-hole.
