IRB(Institutional review board) 승인 받아보신분

    리서치 하시는분들 IRB 리뷰 과정까지 어느정도 걸리는지, 얼마나 승인 나는지 일반적인 rate라도 알고 싶은데 알수있는게 많지 않네요 물론 연구주제마다 다르고 케이스 바이 케이스인건 알지만, academic한 리서치가 아니라 insdustrial research proposal인데, 비슷한 연구주제로 이미 승인이 난건 보았습니다. 학부 출신이라 아는게 많이 없지만 거의 들이박는 중이라 도움이 좀 필요합니다.

    혹시 같은 과정 겪어보신 분들 경험담이라도 듣고싶습니다

      얼마나 크리티컬한 내용이 있냐에 따라 다르고 학교마다 담당 마다 매우다르지만
      기본적으로 소송안당하려고 겁나게 딴지거는곳이 irb니깐
      irb첨에 빈틈없이 잘쓰면 금방 한두달에 나오기도하고 꼬투리잡히면 오래걸리기도합니다

        댓글 달아주셔서 감사합니다. 일단은 제쪽 분야에서 전혀 예상도 못한 상황이라 크리티컬한 내용이 없다고 자의적으로 판단했지만, funding 기관에서 승인이 필요하다고 말하니, 일단은 잘 준비해야 할 것 같네요 시간이 한달 이상 안걸렸으면 좋겠는데 참

      I think some Industry uses some IRB company?

      Best to talk to people who really submitted. Some submit IRB or call them all the times. Just routine.
      And can be very easy+fast or long..

        It’s very relieving to hear that some cases could be very easy + fast. I’m not sure which case ours would land into among “exemption”, “expedited review” or “full board review”, but hopefully it’s not the last one. I got my everything put on this since I came to the US – H1B, salary increase, etc.

      IRB care most about high vs. low vs. no risk (and privacy) for patients.
      Check any univ or commercial IRB website. e.g.,
