J-1 종료 전에 H-1B 서류가 들어가는 것이 좋지만, 30일 Grace Period에도 H-1B 서류를 접수할 수 있습니다. 서류 접수 후에는 심사결과가 나오기 까지 미국에 체류 가능합니다. (H-1B Cap 면제 해당되는 회사일 경우에는 H-1B를 아무때나 접수할 수 있습니다. 하지만 H-1B Cap 해당되는 회사일 경우에는 내년 3월 추첨을 통하여 4월부터 접수할 수 있으니 참고하세요.) 아무쪼록 J-1 Waiver 성공적으로 잘 받으시길 기원합니다. 감사합니다.
