I have a Subaru Forester and drove CX5 once.
Before the time AWD became popular option, only Audi and Subaru cars were AWD in the market, not 4WD that I know of.
But now, almost all manufacturers have AWD.
Forester is a reliable car but it is slightly smaller than similar price range models, CRV or RAV4.
