회사 오퍼 베네핏도 네고 가능한가요? 그리고 이런 사항들 해석좀 부탁드려요 선배님들.

    안녕하세요 선배님들,
    어떤 회사에서 오퍼를 받았는데, 베네핏 부분도 네고가 가능한지 여쭤볼려구요.
    저는 경력3년있습니다. 이번 오퍼가 2번째 직장이 되겠구요..
    retirement plan 이쪽이 잘 이해가 안가는데.. (1 & 2) 간략하게 요점만 알려주실 수 있을까요?? 심장이 약해서 악성댓글은 자제해주세요 ㅜㅜ
    회사 이름은 가리기위해서 ***으로 처리했어요. 아! 그리고 미국회사들은 의료보험을 풀커버를 안해주나요? 이걸 네고해보고싶은데..ㅜㅜ

    Retirement plans
    1. 401(k) savings plan

    The savings plan is a 401(k) plan that allows employees to defer a portion of compensation to supplement their Social Security retirement income. Eligible employees may elect to invest up to 100% of eligible pay on a pretax basis (after all required deductions are taken from pay), up to the IRS-specified limit. Full- and part-time regular employees are eligible to participate beginning the first of the month following your first 30 days of employment and will be enrolled automatically at 2% of pay the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment. After one year of employment, **** calculates a matching contribution to eligible participants. Currently the match is 25% of the first 6% you contribute (up to IRS limits) and it will be determined on an annual basis. You must be actively employed on the last day of the plan year (Dec. 31) in order to receive credit for a matching contribution for the year. The matching contribution is subject to a three-year cliff vesting schedule. If you terminate employment before completing three years of vesting service, any matching contribution credited to you will be forfeited. An employee is 100% vested after three full years of service. Employee 401(k) contributions are always 100% vested.

    2. Employees’ Retirement Plan
    The Employees’ Retirement Plan is a cash balance defined benefit plan that is 100% paid for by **** and designed to supplement other retirement benefits. Each year an employee participates in the retirement plan, **** contributes 4% (6% for executive directors and managing directors) of his or her eligible annual salary (subject to government limits) into a retirement account. Three full years of service with **** must be completed before an employee is vested and eligible for this retirement benefit. Benefits are payable upon normal retirement age.

      네고에서 401k 나 의료보험, 연금은 안됩니다. 회사의 전반적인 정책이라 개인을 위해 바꾸기 힘들어요. 조그만 회사는 몰라도 어느정도 규모가 있는 회사라면 더더욱 그래요. 차라리 급여나 휴가을 네고해보세요.

      그전에는 401k없는 작은 회사에서 일하셨나보요.
