질문] EAD expedite request => “your case is currently under review by an officer”.

    급한 출장이 있어서, 지난 목요일에 expedite request를 넣었거든요,
    오늘 이런 답변이 왔어요,
    “The expediting of a case allows it to be sent quickly to an officer for adjudication. However, your case is currently under review by an officer. We have notified the officer reviewing your case of your expedite request, however it is their discretion to grant the expedite. Please contact us again if you do not receive the document or other correspondence within the 30 day time frame.”

    “currently under review by an officer” 라고 하면,
    혹시 얼마나 기다려야하는 걸까요? 대략이라도
    30일 윈도우를 이야기해서, 30일까지는 기다릴 수 없는 상황이라서,
    걱정입니다. 혹시 경험 있으신 분이나, 변호사분 계시면, 조언 부탁드립니다.

        저도 좀 검색해보니, 며칠 안에 결과를 받았다는 사람들도 있긴하던데.. 그러면 정말 좋겠네요. 감사합니다.

        조언 감사합니다. 4월말과 5월 중순에 정말 중요한 출장이 있어서, expedite process를 신청했어요.
        현재 F1-OPT라서 AP를 쓰고 출장을 다녀오면 일을 할 수가 없어서, EAD카드랑 AP 모두 필요한 상황입니다. 정 안 되면, 첫번째 출장을 포기하고 AP를 받아서 5월 출장을 다녀올 생각도 하고 있어요. ㅠㅠ..

      앗 저도 저런 내용의 메일을 오늘 받았는데 전 그냥 월 초니까 업데잇겸 그냥 보낸건줄 알았는데
      정말 업데잇이 곧 있다는 뜻인가요?
      근데 전 요청한것도 없는데..
