Window system(XP or Vista)

    I have a plan to buy a new laptop at dell.
    You know, there is options for window system(XP or Vista).
    Is it generally going faster with XP than Vista? Is XP more recommendable?
    I’d like to listen to your opinions.

      I personally don’t like the new version because it is not so stable as the old one.

      If you are using non-MS programs that might not work on new Vista, go with XP. Vista has a lot of compatibility problems, so MS secretly even sell a downgrade program from Vista Premium (not Basic) to XP. (Yes, they sell!!)

      I strongly suggest XP if you don’t use multimedia much or or are not sure about the compatibility of the programs you are currently using.
