     Position Summary

     

    Provides system supports, implementation and enhancement process for service and repair business.   

    Drives process innovation for both internal and external projects by working closely with contact points within each department in Service and Repair organization and also with HQ.  Help reduce costs, realize operational excellence and increase employee and customer satisfaction. Interaction with subject matter experts at management level to identify problems, analyze information and develop solutions consistent with our business strategies. Constantly strive to help improve the role of management by working to design and provide them with the necessary tools and systems to assist them in their decision making.

     

    Common Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:

     

    ·         Responsible for System support for forecasting, MRP, procurement, sales and inventory management, repair operation management

    ·         Analyze process for reverse Logistics including parts, repair and procurement process using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology such as SAP R/3 and/or web-based systems.

    ·         Support internal company process improvement projects and initiatives through evaluation of current work processes and identification of improvement strategies

    ·         Responsible for ongoing process auditing role which includes but not limited to, reviewing Service related processes and procedures in order to make improvement recommendations to Management.

    ·         Looks for areas of improvement and proposes process improvement initiatives

    ·         Assist in preparation of project planning and coordination, including but not limited to: scheduling, defining roles and responsibilities and documentation

    ·         Responsible for HQ communications for reverse logistics process related requests, coordinating with other department to review related processes and procedures

    ·         Work with cross functional teams including colleagues, stake-holders and senior management

    ·         Understand & manage HQ based Key Performance Indicators in relevant systems

    ·         Assist in presenting re-engineered processes to all levels of the organization and conducting training on the same using MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point

    ·         Ensure champions, process owners and functional leaders are provided the business support required to develop and to implement process changes

    ·         Continuously strive for excellence and set example for the rest of the company

     

    Background/Experience

    To qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:

     

    ·         Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Administration and 2 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or occupation requiring project management or process improvement

    ·         Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or occupation requiring project management or process improvement, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

    ·         Experience must include: IT project management in the telecommunications industry; demonstrated ability to identify areas of improvement and propose process improvement initiatives

    ·         Demonstrable ability to look for areas of improvement and proposes process improvement initiatives

    ·         ability to gather and analyze large data sets from multiple sources, prepare both quantitative and qualitative analysis of information and to plan and prioritize multiple work assignments

    ·         Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all our organizational levels

    ·         Proven ability using Microsoft Office products to Expert/Advanced level

    ·         Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve team goals and complete assignments within established deadlines

    ·         Bilingual (English/Korean) Preferred

    ·         SAP ERP system experience preferred

    ·         Telecommunications business acumen preferred

    ·         Project Management

    ·         Strong analytical skills

    ·         Strong interpersonal skills
