Responsible for development of new or modified process formulations, definition of processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, review of processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of semiconductors. Works collaboratively with regional account team, customer contacts and various functional groups within business unit. Effectively communicates and champions customer needs (internally) and business unit goals (externally). Key contributor to overall account strategy and success from a technology and business perspective.
Leads technology evaluation and proliferation teams. Champions new product introductions including development and implementation. Responsible for understanding competitive position for all key metrics used by customers for equipment selection. Analyzes customer technology trends and requirements, and identifies opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation.
Specific Position Requirements: Extensive customer contact and approximately 25% worldwide travel will be required. Fluency in Korean is required.
Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience in areas such as electroplating, deposition, wafer fabrication, and device physics. A Masters or Ph.D. Preferred. Requires a minimum of 12+ years of related experience in wafer process equipment startups/sustenance at customer sites. A strong understanding of metal deposition techniques required, specifically Electroplating Deposition (EPD). Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Independent decision-maker. Strong influence and partnering skills. The ability to develop relationships and work effectively with customers. Strong presentation skills. The ability to develop and execute plans, consistently delivering expected business results. Work effectively in a changing environment; able to deal with ambiguity.
