Senior Software Engineer (ASP.NET/C#/SQL/Oracle)

The senior software engineer is a strong programming position with the opportunity to grow into a lead role based on performance. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of project experience in Microsoft .NET Framework environment, plus solid knowledge and experience in the following:

• All technical phases of applications and systems analysis
• Software development, including system analysis, design, development and quality assurance
• Implementation of applications using ASP.NET 2.0 with C#
• OOAD, design patterns
• Multi-tier solutions, especially for Web and data center environments
• Windows and Web services
• The differences between .NET Frameworks 1.1, 2.0 and 3.5; knowledge and working experience in .NET Framework 3.5 a plus
• ASP.NET Page life cycles, user controls, custom controls and ASP.Net Ajax
• JavaScript and object-oriented JavaScript
• A RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle; experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL, stored procedures, database design
• XML, XHTML, CSS and XSLT
• SQL Server 2005/2008 and database layers, including SQL Server skills such as design, T-SQL and performance turning
• Reporting services

In addition, candidates should have:

Responsibilities:

• Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions
• Assess data from multiple sources (product requirements, tech constraints, UX research, web analytics) and synthesize it to develop efficient user scenarios, taxonomies, classification schemes, navigation systems, design patterns, etc.
• Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders
• Develop competitive assessments and perform site heuristic reviews
• Help define, request and incorporate relevant and recent UX research and data from customer feedback to appropriately inform design decisions
• Help define UX performance metrics (error rate, abandon rate, average number of clicks, perceived easiness, etc.) for every project to track its success

Qualifications:
