Responsibilities/Duites
• Responsible for developing and updating website content
• Understanding clients’ business, strategy and product/service offerings and develop content accordingly
• Creating original copy, editing existing collateral copy for web use that incorporates relevant SEO friendly keywords and phrases
• Collaborates with the web team to ensure accurate, timely posting of content
• Writes, edits and/or identifies all web content including general information, events, news items, photos/graphics
• Ensures content meets editorial style, consistency, and accuracy standards
• Collaborates with the web team to ensure the site supports marketing efforts by offering regularly updated information, a visually pleasing experience with complementary text and images and smooth web page navigation
• Translates various types of print material for the web and develops ways to optimize web opportunities for company communications
• Works collaboratively with the web team in optimizing meta-tag descriptions, page titles, alt-tags for images of the website
• Provides other writing, editing and proofreading support for various business projects based on material supplied
Requirements

• Should be a native speaker of Korean language and have strong cultural Korean understanding
• Work requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and written communication skills
• Well-read, knowledgeable and business-oriented
• Must have fair understanding of websites, social media marketing, email marketing and other forms of internet marketing in regards to the Korean market
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Visual Communications, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Must have driver’s license and be able to drive
