I lived in south Chandler about 6 months and lived in Tempe for 4.5 years. The place where I lived is still under development. A lot of homes are being built in south chandler. As I know house prcie went up about 30% anuually in recent years according to a newspaper. For example, one of my friend bought a new 4 bedrom house in South Chander last year and the price of the house went up more than 100k(~30 %) in a year. Except the skyrocketting house price other things look ok to me. The house price really scares me. One of the reason for skyrocketting house price is due to increasing population. If I remember correctly Chandler was one of the top 3 cities in the US last year in growing population. I don’t have kids so I cannot tell about the chidren’s education.
