located in North Chicago area is looking for an experienced and skilled PC
support technician to support the Windows PC environment and ensure the
reliability/resiliency of our Systems. As a PC support technician, you must
represent the company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go
above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and
organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also
important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and
interpersonal skills.Job Title: User Support
In this position, you will be responsible for:
● Interfacing
directly with internal customers with a professional and positive demeanor● Handling printer deployments and
resolving break/fix issues● Managing PC relocation per
Move/Add/Change requests● Installing and upgrading hardware and
software● Submitting orders for
PCs/Laptops/parts● MS Windows based Desktop/Laptop and OS
hardening● MS Outlook email client
● MS Office troubleshooting
● VoIP phones
● Polycom Video conference system
● Access control system
● CCTV monitoring system
● Life Cycle Management for
hardware/software tech turn and end of life● Audit Compliance such as PCI
You will need:
● Excellent
understanding of Windows based PCs● Excellent understanding of network
Protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.● Excellent understanding of basic
Network and connectivity standards, protocols and implementations● Basic understanding of LAN components
and configurations.● Windows based office
environment(install/admin/troubleshooting software and hardware)● Audit Compliance such as PCI
● VoIP phones
● Access control system with RF card
● CCTV monitoring system
Education and experiences:
● Associate degree/
BA in Computer Science or related field● 3-5 experiences in related filed
Plus skills (Desired, not Required)
● Apple Mac
PC/Laptop● Shoretel Phone system
● Microsoft Certifications such as MCP
