Overview

One of the largest Korean owned home appliance companies located in North Chicago area is looking for an experienced and skilled
programmer analyst of ERP/MIS to design, develop, modify and maintain the
ERP/MIS application and ensure the reliability/resiliency of them. As a
programmer analyst of ERP/MIS, you must represent our company well by being
responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty.
You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic
and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent
verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Programmer analyst of ERP/MIS

In this position, you will be responsible for:

●  Design, develop,
modify and maintain applications for personal computer and server
●   Design, develop, modify and maintain
databases using Microsoft SQL Server for use with company developed software
applications
●   Develop ad-hoc reports and data
extracts using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and
Crystal Reports
●  Manage data and application security
by establishing application and database security and by maintaining user
accounts and passwords
●  Meet with Authority employees to
determine project requirements, adhering to System Development standards in
planning, system and business analysis, design, development, testing and
implementation
●  Study existing data to evaluate
current effectiveness; develop new or modify existing applications and
databases to streamline production or work flow and to increase the efficiency
and effectiveness of information systems procedures and equipment
●  Prepares project plans and schedules,
including requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources and critical
milestone review points for projects
●  Provides reports of problem and change
management activity
●  Install, test, and upgrade
software/applications, maintain or develop technical documentation
●  Data importing/exporting from/to
cooperative companies
●  Order Processing
●  Financial and Management Accounting
●  Inventory Management
●  Forcast manufacturing and purchasing
●  May be assigned to assist other
departments with implementing new software applications

You will need:

●  Experience the following
Software/Development : C#, Java, PHP, SQL, XML, JSON, QuickBook, MAS200, UPS
World Ship, Fedex Ship Manager, MS Office
●  Excellent understanding of
distribution business processes and ability to map them to the proposed
solution
●  Excellent understanding of accounting
principles
●  Excellent understanding of SOA(ReSTful
Webservice) as an architectural style
●  Excellent understanding of MS-SQL
Database
●  Experience working in technology for a
distribution industry
●  Experience developing in a SQL Server
environment
●  Experience in business application
usage of XML and XSLT
●  Experience in object oriented design
and development
●  Skilled in providing business training

Education and Experiences

●  Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science or related field
●  5 years and more experiences in related field
