You have green card. Even people with no green card buy house despite

    of their instability of status.

There are numerous privileges in home ownership. All the mortgage

interest you pay is tax-deductible. Your monthly apartment rental

is not tax-deductible. The money is just gone, wasted. Up to $500000 of capital gain in

the form of house price appreciation(가격상승)is tax-free.No 양도소득세!

As you will realize soon,it is very difficult to evade tax in US. And

this is legal way of evading tax. Not only legal, the government recommands

    you to take this advantage.

You probably will have children. Don’t you want to play with them in your own backyard,

doing basketball, gardening, barbecuing etc? it’s all part of American

    dream,dude.

Sure the house is expensive now. But compare them with the tiny apartments in Seoul.

However, there are a lot of irrecoverable costs involved in house purchase and sales.

So consider all your situation, your job, marriage, family planning etc.

If you think you will stay in your area for more than three years.buy it.

begin with getting mortgage preapproval. You can get it from any lender including banks

for free.(You might not be approved because of your short credit history) You don’t have

to get the mortgage from the bank or company who did it for you. they just do it as customer

    service.

If i were you, I would buy most affordable three bedroom detached house in a good school district
