System Engineer
• Responsible for a variety of system engineering tasks: Outlining system requirements, generating
system specifications, defining sub-system protocol, writing RFP/RFI proposals, solving customer
system issues, supporting 3rd party system integration, and working with OEM licensing partners.
• Must have strong knowledge in MPEG-2/MPEG-4, DVB, ATSC, TCP/IP, VOD, QOS, IP network &
protocols, fault tolerance and redundancy, optical transport, network routers and switches, conditional
access, Telco and cable headend interactive network.
• Work will require some traveling to interface with customers, licensees, and partners.
• Must have at least 10+ years of experiences and PhD/MS EE or CS.

System Integration and Test (SI&T) Engineer
• Perform a variety of SI&T engineering tasks that include generating test specifications/compliance
matrices and test scripts, conducting system qualification tests and internal SI&T review, logging
system issues and tracking resolutions for closures, performing system debug and diagnostic,
constructing and maintenance sub-systems integration racks (IP network routers, VOD servers, ad
servers, cable headend, set-tops, etc…).
• Responsible for conducting Alpha and Beta field test, publishing test results, and recommending
approval for product release to production.
• Must have strong knowledge in MPEG-2 Encoders and cable Set-Tops, MPEG-2 Multiplexer, DVB,
SCTE, and ATSC standard, conditional access scrambling (DES, 3DES, CSA, AES), TCP/IP,
network routers and switches, optical interface, VOD servers, ad servers, cable headend RF
distribution, and interactive network.
• Knowledge of Motorola and Scientific Atlanta cable headend is a plus.
• Excellent in communication in small team environment to support testing and tracking down system
issues with emphasis in quality and customer satisfaction.
• Must have at least 10+ years of experience and MS/BS EE or CS.

FPGA/Digital Engineer
• Responsible for FPGA development from conception through HDL to production. Must have working
knowledge of Xilinx FPGA programmable logic (Virtex-II Pro), HDL Verilog entry, synthesis,
simulation, timing analysis, and EDA tools in Linux.
• Have past ASIC/FPGA design experience with MPEG-2 audio codec (AC3 and Musicam), MPEG-2
video processing blocks (VLD, VLE, DCT, IDCT, Q, IQ), and NTSC/PAL encoder/decoder.
• Must have understanding of MPEG-2 transport/video/audio layers and DVB/ATSC system
information. Knowledge of IP and DOCSIS is a plus.
• Capable to perform complex test and design verification of multiple FPGAs/ASICs in system
environment. Provide support for firmware integration, DVT, and system qualification test.
• Must have at least 10+ years of experiences and BS/MS EE or CE.
Embedded Firmware Engineer
• Responsible for MPEG-2 embedded firmware development from conception through production of
VOD and broadcast system applications.
• Must have working experience with real time OS embedded Linux, TCP/IP, MPEG-2
transport/video/audio layers, DVB SI and ATSC PSIP tables, MPEG-2 streaming, conditional access
scrambling (DES, 3DES, CSA, AES), and ad insertion SCTE-30/35 standards.
• Require a self-starter individual with quality of coding emphasis in taking system requirements
through implementation, HW/FW debug and test, system qualification, and release to production.
• Require working knowledge on PowerPC and programming skills in C and C++.
• Familiar with MPEG-2 Encoder/Decoder/Multiplexer, cable headend, network routers/switches, VOD
servers and ad servers is a plus.
• Must have at least 10+ years of experiences and MS/BS EE or CS.
