Job Description:
• Maintain existing backend system in Java and Spring
• Identify the root cause of issues found in the existing system
• Design and develop new features
• Recommend development options, including design, build and test
• Resolve technical problems discovered by QAs
• Effectively communicate software solution expectations to customers, team members
and other stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• 5+ years of Java and Spring Framework (Spring-Boot) experience
• Strong object oriented programming knowledge along with good understanding of
algorithms, data structures and design patterns (MVC)
• Expertise with design/development of RESTful API web services
• Experience with Oracle Database
• Experience with XML and JSON
• Proficient in SDLC, Agile development
• Experience with test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous
deployment
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Salt Stack Formula (Java based) is a plus
• Experience with Openshift for build and deployment is a plus
• Experience with Middleware development (Java based) is a plus
• Experience with Telematics or Connected Car project is a plus
