최근에 영주권을 받았습니다. 플라스틱 카드의 유효기간은 10년입니다만 제가 아는 바로는 아이는 13세가 되면 영주권 갱신을 해야 한다는데 제가 정확기 알고 있는지가 궁금해서 이렇게 글을 올립니다. 혹시 경험있으신 분들이 계셔서 답변 주시면 고맙겠습니다.

만 14세가 되면 지문 조회로 범죄기록을 조사 하게 되어 있습니다.
따라서 자녀의 영주권이 10년 유효 기간이 안지났어도 갱신을 하여야 합니다.

“If you are a renewal applicant AND you were issued your “Green Card” before your 14th birthday AND you are now over 14 years old, you must be fingerprinted. You will need to bring a check or money order for the $50 fingerprinting fee (total of $180 for both the I-90 renewal application and the fingerprinting service).”
