If you want to keep your old insurance company, just go to their agent. Then, they will transfer your policy.
Or, you can get new insurance company which I did. First of all, get a new policy from a new company, then terminate your old policy. They will send a check if there is any money to be refunded.
You need to change your address from DMV within 30days of your moving usually.
You can chage your plate at that time which means you need to pay registeration fee. Then they will send you a new plate and title.
You may need to get an emission inspection or something like that before you change your plate.
