Now Editing “졸업후 전공이 stem으로 바뀐 경우” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) 좀 특이한 케이스여서 여쭤보려 올려봅니다. 제가 전공할 당시엔 stem 전공이 아니였는데 전공 후 몇달 뒤 stem으로 됬다고 학교로부터 연락이 왔습니다. OPT extension 지원 해 놓은 상태인데 그때 새로운 cip code가 적혀 있는 I-20 와 학교에서 letter 한장 받아서 보냈습니다. USCIS에서 approval이 나올지 아니면 문제가 될지.. USCIS 사이트 상에서 eligibility에 관해서는 다음과 같이 나와 있는데요: - Have received their most recent degree (which does not need to be STEM-related) from a currently accredited Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified school. - Have received their prior, qualifying STEM degree* (at the bachelor's level or higher) within 10 years of applying for the STEM OPT extension with USCIS. - The qualifying STEM degree needs to be on DHS's STEM Designated Degree Program List at the time the student submits their application for the STEM OPT extension, rather than at the time that the student received the degree. 혹시 이런 경험 있으신 분 계시면 답변 부탁드리겠습니다!
