KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Maintain a high level of expertise in all areas of U.S. Customs regulations, including customs clearance processes, classification and valuation.
– Train and advise in areas of Customs regulations, classification and valuation
– Receive, review, and process high-volume and/or complex import transactions for an assigned base of accounts, including the classification and valuation of goods
– Review and monitor in-bond moves to ensure compliance with arrivals and proper closure to avoid compliance violations
– Analysis and HTSUS classification of import commodities for customs clearance purposes
– Exercise due diligence as relates to compliance with customs and other federal and state government regulations for clearance of import shipments
– Troubleshoot any issues related to data transmissions and customs data response
– Responsible for management of C-TPAT and Drawback compliance rules, regulations and reporting

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– Bilingual in Korean & English
– 3 years experience in customs field
– US Customs Broker’s License (preferred)
– University Graduate (preferred)
– Strong proficiency in HTS classification and CBP regulations
– Knowledge of ACE system, Catair, ISF, AES, and participating government agency requirements.
